I hate drunk drivers

3 years ago my big brother Kevin was killed by a drunk driver and our lives have never been the same. In memory of Kevin I have formed a team called Kevin's Hearts and we are walking in the MADD event on halloween of this year. Please prayerfully consider helping by sending money or walking with. We would love to have you. Let's get these mad dog drunks off our highways and keep our loved ones safe. AND US TOO!!!

Well, its over 3 years now and we all still miss him.
We have formed a team called Kevin's Hearts and will be joining MADD on Halloween morning 2009 to raise money to stop these mad dog drunks.

hump day over

tomorrow's thursday, work week almost over. Praise God. Working on my afghans for my great nieces, the Ravenator and the Ellinator. Not crazy about the yarn or the pattern so I may frog it.

new yarn, new ufo

Just what I need this Sunday morning, a new afghan to knit. This is for my darling Raven. She has asked for a red afghan, and I have found some beautiful variegated worsted at my lys, A Stitcher's Haven. Yikes, savings plan goes out the window and new colors and textures come home with me!
I hope my talent will equal my ambition in this project, wish me luck
